Dolce Vita is located in Sarah's Bakery at 1011 Bridge Road in Charleston, WV. We specialize in fondant and buttercream wedding cakes and specialty order cupcakes for your wedding or event. Previously known as Cafe Cupcakes
for our retail storefront cupcake shop that was located in the Capitol Market. We've decided to bring the different brands under the new name Dolce Vita, which will encompass all things cake, from high design, to cake and cupcake decorating classes that will be offered to parties of 6 or more. We also have an e-boutique for merchandising and cake and cupcake supplies.
With our new venture with Sarah's Bakery, we are
looking forward to creating something special for you! Sarah’s Bakery specializes in delicious pies of various sizes, quiches, cupcakes, brownies, whoopie pies, and twisted
baked treats. Sarah's Bakery is a collaboration between Charleston's award-winning Chef Sarah Plumley, Food Network’s “Chopped" Champion and Brooklyn, NY native
Chef Eric Levine, and Sara Lane, owner of Dolce Vita.
Dolce Vita & Sarah's Bakery will be at the Charleston Bridal Show January 6th,
2013. We hope you join us for some amazing samples, to view wedding photos
of our past work and see 2013's newest trends in wedding cakes and wedding
cupcake towers, with beautiful equipment that can be rented
to style your event. We kindly ask for several months notice for specialty orders and 2-12 months
for weddings. We'll do a limited amount of specialty cakes; anniversaries,
graduations, birthdays, groom's cakes, bridal showers and baby shower cakes a
year. We do not do cartoon birthday cakes or small cakes. Due to the amount
of time it takes to create these particular cakes, we can only book a few from
each category a year. Prices for wedding & specialty cakes start at $3
a serving and up for buttercream and $4 a serving and up for Satin Ice fondant.
Minimum order of servings for a specialty cake are 40 and pricing depends on
complexity of design and flavors.

Highland Hospital Gala and Girls Night Out
*Official judges for the Girl Scout's 100th Anniversary Cupcake Contest
*Actress Jennifer Garner enjoyed our mini cupcakes and cake of our
WV State Capitol during the Southern Legislative Conference
